Surprise! Two posts in one month!

 Seriously, this will make the second time this month!

Can you believe the SNOW~ I really feel for those in the middle of it. I hope you're all staying safe and warm inside. Not here! No kidding, it was 80 degrees today. I was outside in a tank top! My Honey Suckle bush has buds on it! Poor thing will most likely freeze next week! Screwy weather. I saw, (and heard) geese going NORTH! Boy are they confused.

OK, on to the art.

My Altered Playing Card deck is coming along nicely. Claudine has such good ideas! I'm really loving my deck but I do wonder how many times I can use them before those with better memories than I have remember which card is which?  I need a cool way to display them. Any ideas?

Week 18 - Flowers. You know I love flowers.

 

Week 19 - Steam punk. I  don' do a lot of steam punk. HA! I don't do any steam punk, but I like these.

And I made a couple of Birthday Post Cards.

I made these two ATC's after working on a 'steampunk' journal challenge. I'm kinda likin' this steampunk stuff. Personally I think the card came out much better than the journal page. What do you think? ( the journal page is on the post before this one).

A steampunk challenge

This week we were given a challenge to do a "steampunk" page in our journals. I've never done anything 'steampunk' and started to skip the challenge but after some research I decided it might be fun. It was! I love all those gears and gizmos so I'm sure I will be doing more.

This is the finished page for last weeks challenge. I wasn't very happy with it.  Sometimes you just need a little help from friends. The ladies on the ATCFUN group are great at  that. It's better but I'm not really liking it. Well on to the next.
