Mingles

These ATC's were done for monthly mingles on a ATC swap group
.
May is Queen Elizabeth I.  Faces are not my thing but I keep doing them. It's a little sad that I used the same image of Queen Elizabeth for both of these yet they look like two totally different women.
Yep, I need more practice.

June is Space Landscape - which is something else I don't do. These came out pretty good I think. It isn't something that I enjoyed doing though. Think I will leave space to others.

Now I have the same problem I always have.  Which ones do I trade?  I like all four of them!

Thanks for looking.

bloomin' tree

I took this photo in my yard with my phone a couple of weeks ago when the weather was faking Spring, and finally got around to painting it today. I really need to work on my backgrounds. How sad!

It's done with acrylic paint in my mole skin sketch book.

ATC Frenzy

I was sitting at my desk flipping through my ATC album of cards I had made and not traded and decided I should do another of some of my favorites for trading.  Naturally no two ever come out the same. It's really hard to part with some and easy to part with others.  Wonder why that is?

These were done for a swap. They are done in watercolor but the map I used for the background was weird and the paint went on really funky. Looks and acts more like acrylic than watercolor.

Thanks for looking.

messin' around

In my ATCFUN  group the month's lottery is anything with 'bee' or 'be'. I can't decide which one I want to put in. I really should have stopped at one!

The rest is just foolin' around.

awards

My friend Sonja over at  artfrommysoul  nominated me for two awards. WOW! Sonja is a a very talented lady and inspires me to do things I'm not good at. She weaves, she sews, she makes journals from paper and fabric, she makes paper and, well, the list goes on. Thank you Sonja.

By reading my blog you know that I'm not great with words, so I will just nominate five people and their blogs that inspire me. They are all wonderful artists.
