The Last Page

I finally finished the last page in my October Journal. The prompt was to draw the outline of a skull and fill it with things that remind you of a loved one.  This is for my Dad, "Pop ZJ"

October 31 memories of a loved one
My Dad was one of those guys that could do anything he set his mind to, but would rather be fishing. We spent some great times on the banks of  fishin' holes. Most times fishing far into the night and sleeping in the truck or on the ground. He started smoking when he was 9. He died in 2001 of emphysema and lung cancer, He was 79.

My Dad before he was sick.

  1. It's a very creative and lovely page. I'm sorry about your father.
It's nice to finish your journal with a page that is connected to someone you love.
